This project was all about coming together and collaborating and making something what 25 thousand student of my college needed and in the process enjoying each little wins. This project laid the foundation of whatever I am today. Kind of everything I did let it be designing App screen, Designing app icon, working with xdpi- xxdpi- mdpi images, prototyping everything, working with developers, working with a team of talented people, all I did was my first time.

Pretty much it was people that were involved in creating a ecosystem that connects thousands of people. Creating a brands that people recognize and appreciate that can helps students to share their talents and get involved. Creating an app might seem just a work of few people, but making it possible so that ot helps students is combined effort of a whole team. Well we ere 23 people having skills to make it possible. and we did.

The Idea was to make an app for students where we can share all the happenings from the college. Where students can share their story and we can publish them in App and in our blog. Also to have some interesting stuff and information available and easily accessible. It was our seniors Initiative and we with combined effort made it possible. Back to 2015, this was my first app logo i was going to design, The idea behind the logo was To Stand Out. I figured i better use Illustrator for this better learn that scary pen tool. For the first few days i began to to learn some tools to will be used to logo design and some why and why not, red articles, researched on google with similar logo. After I got inspiration from winner where the first winner is at the top and likewise and I began working on that with pen tool. After some iterations like 30 40 iteration. I got there where I can say This is it. Wow. Just made my First app logo.

Most of the design requirement ws already sent by the developer. I was just putting everything together, making best layout possible where everyone could agree. This is it. Santanu helped a lot.

While the app was being deployed on Play store. I was asked to make some shots the upload on play-store. So visited play store, looked here and there. Asked myself how this should be done, talked to content writers about possible tagline for each screen. Made it, saved it in jpg. Hooyah. Done my first screen for any App.

The App was launched in college in Oct 2015 and It was really a proud moment. We started getting positive feedback personally as well as through mail and comments on play store. Students began using it It got more than 2 thousand download in first week.
